Terral Evans learned how to hunt and catch alligators live with his bare hands when he was a young boy -- one of the many bold survival skills passed down from his Grandpa. Terral dug into his native roots to carve out a home in the heart of the Pearl River Honey Island Swamp. Though hunting and fishing Louisiana's rugged terrain is one of Terral's favorite pastimes, he became Project Manager in the Oil & Chemical Industry -- a career he has made for himself over the past thirty years. Terral cares about preserving the swamps and its inhabitants and enjoys being part of the hit TV show, Swamp People.

TERRAL EVANS WITH
HIS RIVER FRIENDS
Way before the TV show, Terral Evans appeared in the Swamp Cooking with the River People cookbook and videos. That was how the Swamp People Casting Director discovered Terral Evans. He called the author and asked her if she knew anyone who hunted alligators, and would like to be on a new TV show. She said, "I know someone who can catch them live with his bare hands." So, the producers came down to Louisiana and met with Terral and signed him up for the show. That was season 2. He has still be a part of the show since then. Below is a link to the Swamp Cooking with the River People Untamed Recipes cookbook.
